  1. Project management is an interesting topic because it causes you to think and act quickly while it forces you to make the best decision possible at the same time. I agree with the top 5 influences in each section are there; everyone likes the idea of having some sort of control aspect and being able to know where to go when you need solutions.

  2. Shifts in workplace culture, technology, and legal and regulatory requirements, along with diminishing resources, create pressure for organizations to change. Because projects can be brief and focused toward a particular change, opportunity, challenge, or problem, they are a good strategic tool for such turbulent settings. Thus, project management is very important for organizations to achieve their goals. Among the top five factors that influence project management, Project Control System is number one factor. I agree with this because system always plays vital role in organization.

  3. I assume that the article is saying that the private sector depends more on the talent of individuals to complete the project within the desired goal-sets? Is this because the private sector has the financial resources to obtain the best project managers? If so, then the public sector will have to rely more on organizational structure. The public sector sounds like it would be less flexible to surprises during the project life-cycle. Thank you for the article review! Craig A.

  4. I agree with the private sector. I have to rely on my team to do the best possible job they can. They are representing my company and myself. When hiring I look for certain qualities. Choosing the right people to work for a small company is crucial.
